1. 天气；气象（n.）

2. 气象预报（n.）

eg: Did you listen to the weather last night?

3.（因风吹、日晒、雨淋等）退色，变色，变形（v.）

eg: She wears some sunscreen on her skin in case she is weathered.

4. 经受住，平安地渡过（困难）

二、这些weather的习语还真是很有意思

1. in all weathers 不论天气好坏；风雨无阻

eg: He picks up his wife after work in all weathers.

无论天气好坏，他下班后都会去接他妻子。

2. make heavy weather of sth 小题大作

eg: You seem to make heavy weather of his mistake.

你好像对他犯的错小题大做了。

3. under the weather 略有不适；不得劲

eg: I didn’t go to work yesterday because I felt under the weather.

我昨天没有去上班，因为我感觉不太舒服。

4. keep a weather eye on sb/sth 对…随时留意；对…小心提防

eg: You should keep a weather eye on the little baby.

你要随时留意这个小宝宝。

三、怎样形容不同的weather呢？

1.sunny  晴天的，晴朗的

eg: How about going sightseeing on such a sunny day?

这么晴朗的天气去观光怎么样？

2.rainy  下雨的，多雨的

eg: It’s not a good time to go to Britain in its rainy season.

在雨季去英国不是个好时候。

3.cloudy  多云的

eg: I like cloudy days in summer, because it won’t be too hot.

我喜欢夏天多云的日子，因为这样就不会很热了。

4.windy  有风的

eg: I still remember that he left home in a windy day.

5.snowy  下雪的

eg: We can make snowmen in snowy days.
