• until用于肯定句中时，句子的谓语动词必须是延续性动词。

• 在…not… until…句型中，主句的谓语动词要用终止性动词，如start，leave，arrive, finish, stop等，表示从句的动作完成，主句的动作才刚发生。

  eg: The boy didn’t leave his room until he finished his homework.

• 当主句使用一般将来时态时，until引导的从句用一般现在时。

  eg: He won’t give up until you tell him the truth.

• 在句首时多用until而不用till。

  eg: Until yesterday, I didn’t know her name.

• 在from…till…这一词组里，多用till而不用until。

  eg: He played computer games from the morning till the noon.

  他从早上到中午一直在打游戏。

• 在强调句中用until不用till。

• 在倒装句中用until不用till。
